Ashley Bowers, Chairman of One Step At A Time (OSAAT), is a Human Services Professional, CEO/Founder of The Homes of LOVE, Inc., Child Welfare Case Manager, Advocate, and Mentor. She obtains a Master of Science in Human Services with organizational and social services being her emphasis area.

Mrs. Bowers is a Florida resident who has spent her entire childhood being raised in the foster care system due to her parents' substance misuse and incarceration. From a professional and personal perspective, Mrs. Bowers understands how OSAAT will be a great asset to the local and surrounding areas in breaking the cycle of recidivism. She states, "Providing released inmates and their families with the right resources and helping them to develop a supportive network, will grant them a fighting chance to transition back into society and live productive and successful lives. If not, we have set them up for failure."

Today, Mrs. Bowers is a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She loves to help others who are in need and just wants to be obedient to her calling to serve others. Although her passion is working with youth aging out of foster care. Another passion she has is serving those who have suffered incarceration to get back to their families and become productive members of society.
